The mistakes of the young
are the mistakes of youth. The mistakes of the older are just plain old
mistakes.
If you cannot remember
when you were young, that may be why you cannot understand the young.
To give without asking
a thing in return, is a hard thing it seems, for some to learn.
Tell me not what others
say, instead tell me what you think, for it is better that way.
I am not your keeper,
nor shall I ever be, but the friendship we have known is very dear to me.
Just because your day
isn't going well, is no reason to make everyone else's day a living Hell.
Ask of a friend no more
than you would have a friend ask of you.
Some people are harder
to get to know than others, but if you take the time you may find they
make good friends.
I worry far more about
the young than I do me, for I am near the shore now, but they are still
out at sea.
Some beauty is best viewed
in the moonlight.
There are those who walk
the road of life, while others just stumble along it.
Most believe that there
are two sides to everything, theirs and the wrong one.
We sometimes find that
when we are right about something, we may wish we were not.
Some things are just meant
to be, and some are not, while some things can be made to happen, but should
they?
To truly be the master
of your own fate, you must first be your own master.
If time is all you have,
you have more than many.
To the self-righteous
I say, the mirror of life reveals all, look into the mirror if you dare.
If you are honest with
yourself, you will find it easier to be honest with others.
Once the mind is open,
the heart will soon follow.
We all travel different
roads on our way to the same destination.
You can stop the hands
of the clock, but you cannot stop time from passing.
Some times doing nothing
is the best thing to do.
Nothing in life hurts
more than seeing someone you love hurting, an not being able to ease their
pain.
You can be happy only
when, and if you want to be.
If someone tells you they
know it all, have them tell it to you, it most likely will not take long.
Seeing an old friend from
your past brings back memories of a time when you were younger, and it
gives you, for a while at least, a little of your youth back. There will
always be a bond with those who shared that time of your life with you.
Just because a door is
shut, it does not mean that it is locked.
If the things you try
do not work, try harder, the best things do not come easy.
The things I carry in
my heart, mean more to me than anything my hands have ever held.
The heaviest chains we
carry in life are those we forge ourselves.
The key to some hearts
is much harder to find than the key to others.
To say the least you can
about something is sometimes too much, and saying all you can sometimes
is not enough.
If it has been written
in the stars, by the hand of fate, then it will surely come to pass.
I am over the hill now,
and headed down into the valley of forever.
Somewhere out there someone
is in need of help, look around, and lend a hand.
In the end it is you who
must answer to yourself for the things that you have done.
Sometimes even when you
win, you lose.
Time moves only forward.
There are no words to
express the death of some loves.
Make to me no promise,
and I will not be disappointed in you.
Is it not odd, that what
is said cannot happen, happens all the time.
Which is worse, doing
the right thing for the wrong reason, or doing the wrong thing for the
right reason?
The rain is but the tears
of the Angels, who are saddened by the sorry state of humanity.
It is sometimes hard to
tell an Angel from a Demon.
Be ever careful how you
spend your time, for unlike money, you cannot make more.
At times things will appear
to be so right, yet in your heart, you know they are so wrong.
As our journey through
life comes nearer the end, we begin to understand what it has all been
about.
One who places his fate
in the hands of others is a fool.
For a true warrior there
is always one more battle to fight.
If you tell someone you
care about them, make sure that they understand what you mean by it.
I want those I love to
not suffer the pain that I have known.
Sometimes the price of
happiness is more than we are willing to pay.
In the conflict that is
life, time, hate, and lust, are the enemies. If you arm yourself with patients,
understanding, and love, you may be able to win some battles, but even
with these weapons you will not win them all.
I know not what fate has
in store for me, but I am not afraid anymore.
Most things are not worth
dying for, but there are a few that are.
Some people should come
with warning labels.
There are those who have
more love to give than others.
The lucky know who they
are.
Some people have a 6
Th. sense, while others have none at all.
Try to remember that Lady
Luck is a woman, and she can change her mind at any moment.
If there is anyone out
there that really does know it all, they sure are doing a good job of keeping
it from the rest of us.
An idea, once born, lives
forever, be it good, or bad.
For a long time I thought
I had a problem, then it hit me one day, I was the problem.
Love, and War are much
alike, there are always many wounded, and there are few winners.
We enter life by way of
the birth canal, and exit on the river of death.
It is said that the young
are restless, but that is as it should be.
The thing that makes life
interesting, is that you never know what awaits you just around the next
corner.
There are times when the
voice of reason is the last one we hear.
When there is nothing
else to compare it to, the stupidest idea can seem to be reasonable.
At birth we are all sentenced
to death, and there is no appealing the sentence.
Isn't it odd that two
people can recall the same event in different ways?
Time spent thinking of
what might have been, is time that should be used to work on what might
still be.
If the sunlight never
falls on the place you are in, then move Stupid!
There is no net under
the tight rope of life, if you fall, you will be hurt.
Sometimes paths cross
that shouldn't.
If an artist could paint
my life, I wonder what it would look like?
There are things in life
that only a few ever see.
If you have always thought
of yourself first, it's time you thought about others, and if you have
never put yourself first, perhaps it's time you did.
I have nothing to hide
from my God, for he already knows who I am.
To some God gave intelligence,
to others he gave ignorance, and sometimes it is hard to tell which have
done better in life.
When you at last get your
life together, what will you do with it?
For those who know on
peace within, there is no peace at all.
The workings of the heart
are very different than the workings of the mind.
It is good to have old
friends, but never pass up the chance to make a new one.
In the game of life everybody
loses in the end.
Love is a flower that
can bloom at anytime.
If you can stay young
at heart, while becoming mature of mind, life can be so good.
Some see the glass as
half full, some see it as half empty, and some do not care which it is,
they just want a drink.
In the Great Book of Life,
everyone gets their own chapter, but some chapters have far more pages
than others.
A love that makes not
itself known, is a love that can never be.
The role you play in someone
else's life is as much up to them as it is to you.
Even when they are pronounced
dead, some loves refuse to die.
There are those you cannot
put out of your mind, anymore than you can put them out of your heart.
Our tears wash our eyes,
and when they dry we see things clearer than before.
There are things one should
only talk about with oneself.
If on the day before the
day after, you do everything right, then maybe the day after won't be so
bad.
The deepest thought may
be born in the shallowest mind.
The train of life makes
many stops on its way to the end of track.
Letting out those feelings
that have been inside you for so long, means letting out some of your secrets
as well.
Humanity is Gods latest
work, surely it will not be his last.
If I am remembered fondly
after I am gone, then life will have had some meaning after all.
If your enemies respect
you, and your family, and friends love you, you have done well.
The heart does not always
age at the same rate as the rest of the body.
At times when I am all
alone with my thoughts, a smile comes to my face.
Where the road of life
ends, the great adventure begins.
You may not know who you
are, but your heart has always known.
Many things come to me
in the night, some are dreams, and some are nightmares.
We who live at night know
a world the day dwellers never will.
Share with me your thoughts,
and I will share with you mine, you never know we might become good friends
if given time.
The man I am becoming,
while still flawed, is a far better man than I have been.
I know that where I am
headed is a place I have not been.
There are many stops to
be made on the road to the truth.
To those who care about
me I say, worry not what happens to me, for whatever it be, it is what
has to be, in order for me to be who I am.
All my fears have been
removed from within me, and at last I can be just me.
My past does not hunt
me, for it is there, and I am here now.
No matter how wrong some
of the things I have done may look, they must have been the right things
for me to do, for they have lead me to where I am now, and this is where
I need to be at this point in life.
I try not to judge others
anymore, even if they are still passing judgment on me.
Looking back, I see that
there were times in my life when I could have done more than I did, but
most of the time I did all that I could to make things right.
Sometimes you can care
too much about someone.
The heart that knows more
love than it gives is a lucky heart.
Please tell me no sad
stories, life has been more than enough sadness.
As I get nearer the end
of the book of life, I can't help but wonder how it will end.
If I were granted just
one wish, I would wish that those I know and love could find the inner
peace that I now know.
One + one = two most of
the time, but some times one + one = three, think about it.
If you speak only what
you know to be true, rather than what you believe to be true, you will
have little to say most of the time.
All to often the last
word is one of anger.
If you find yourself alone,
find yourself a friend.
The house where I was
born is still standing, and so am I, at least for now.
Hate, greed, lust, and
envy are the tools with which the Devil works his ways, once you give them
up, and let them go, he can no longer get to you.
After all these years
of trying to be what I never was, I find that the man I really am, isn't
so bad after all.
In the mirror I see yesterday,
in the faces of the young I see tomorrow.
Somewhere, sometime, someone,
has to stand up, and say what needs to be said. Someone has to at least
try to do the right thing.
If no one believes you
anyway, you may as well tell the truth, they'll never believe that.
That which I cannot get
over I well try to go around.
Somebody is always watching,
but do they really know or understand what they see.
If you know not why I
do the things I do, then how can you know if they are right or wrong?
The smile you sometimes
see on my face, when I am alone with my thoughts, bothers me as much as
it does you.
If you don't like me,
I hope it will not upset you too much that I will always like you anyway.
You cannot break a heart
that has no love for you, but you can end up breaking your own heart, if
that heart you pursue.
The truth of things does
not go away just because no one talks about it.
There are those I hope
to see again, even if it is on the other side of life.
If you have to think about
something too long before you do it, maybe you shouldn't do it at all.
Love can be many things,
not all of which are good.
If you love someone enough,
you may have to let them go.
You may love someone as
much as you want, but you will never own them.
For years I cared to little,
now I fear I care too much, but it feels a lot better, so I'll keep on
doing it.
Many may think that I
am losing it, and that there is something wrong with me, so be it. Perhaps
someday they will come to see that I have found it, and that in reality,
things are more right with me than they have ever been.
I wish there was a way
for me to take the pain of others onto myself, for pain and I are old friends,
and pain does not hurt me as much as it does most, and there are so many
who could use a rest from the pain that they have bore for so long.
I believe that I have
now burned all the bridges behind me, this I have done so that there is
no way for me to go back where I once was.
I do not have the power
to make you happy, but if you will let me, I think I can help you find
the power within yourself so that can get you there.
There are those who for
no real reason become very dear to you.
I will never be all that
you think I should be, I can only be all that I am.
Some show great promise,
others promise to show, but most of the time neither comes to pass.
The only fountain of youth
that there really is, lie within the heart, the last place most of us think
to look.
If you think you can put
up with me, I'd like to be your friend.
My thoughts are my own,
and at times that's a good thing.
I find that my friends
are as diverse as my interests.
Why is it that we would
rather be abused by some, than loved by others?
Things happen in life
that are neither right, or wrong, they just are.
Sometimes once we get
what we want, we wonder why we wanted it.
I do not remember the
first tear I shed , but I have a vivid recollection of the last.
Just because someone follows
you around, it does not make you a leader.
You are in charge of things
only as long as others are willing to take orders from you.
If someone hurts you,
you may think that hurting them will make you feel better, but you are
wrong. It will only hurt you more in the end.
In the game of life danger
is everywhere, and there are few warning signs.
How do you pay a debt
that you owe someone when that someone does not understand why you think
you owe them.
Time is on your side only
if you want to grow old, and die.
There are people that
you just cannot help but like.
Beauty can be many things.
Be not afraid to speak
your mind when your heart tells you that you are right.
There is no law against
being different, isn't that nice.
Let us talk today for
tomorrow may be too late.
If I am wrong I will admit
it, If I am right I will never let you forget it.
No one can change where
they have been, but we all have the power to change where we are headed
for.
I know I will never be
an artist, I have a hard time just drawing water from a tap.
Body art looks good on
some bodies, other bodies are art, and need no help at all.
Some people hurt easier
than others, I must make every effort to remember that before I go running
off at the mouth.
The best way to beat the
odds is to not gamble on them.
If you have chosen the
correct thing to do 50% or more of the time, you are above average.

In my dreams I have everything
I have ever wanted.
Knowing that something
isn't right, stops very few from doing it.
There comes a time when
you just can't turn your head, and act like you do not see what is going
on anymore.
If everyone leaves it
up to the other guy to do the right thing, the right thing will never get
done.
There is so much yet to
do, and so little time to get it done.
In the deepest darkest
corner of the night, our worse fears await us.
Life is an adventure,
It should be lived as such.
If you see nothing in
your life worth living for, maybe you are not looking in the right places.
We are all prisoners of
the times in which we live.
In the battle for the
hearts, and souls of men, the Devil wins his share.
There will never be enough
time to do all the things you want too, the best you can hope for is that
there will be enough time to do the things you need to do.
When things that were
never meant to be, happen anyway, there are always tears to be shed.
Remember that most people
do not hear your meaning, they only hear your words, so choose them ever
so carefully.
If you have a friend,
you have more than many.
The bond of blood is strong
with some, but the bond of love is strong with all who come to know it.
If the only way I can
be happy is to hurt those I care the most about, then happy I shall never
be.
Tell it to someone who
cares, tell it to me.
If you were my only friend,
I would think no more of you than I do. But if I end up with a million
friends, I will never think less of you.
When a friend wants to
talk, make the time to do it, you never know when will be the last time.
I do not question the
change that has come to me, I just thank God that it has come.
I have forgotten more
about less, than anyone I know.
If from where you are,
you can still see where you were, you still have a long ways to go.
If you think that nothing
could ever change the way you see life, then you my friend have not been
where I have, yet.
Those who refuse to hear
your words, will never know how you feel about them, that seems such a
shame.
I make no claim to being
better than others, only different.
We come to know many people
in life, only a small number of them will ever be come good friends, and
of those only a few will become trusted friends.
If all you really want
is to be left alone, that can be arranged.
There are so many I would
like to do so much for if I had the means to do so.
If you see an Angel don't
tell any one, they will just think you are crazy.
Not all Angels have wings,
and halo's, and not all Angels are from Heaven.
One should remember that
fallen Angels still have all the charm, and beauty they had before they
fell, that's what makes them so dangerous.
Talking at the speed of
light does no good, for most of us can only hear at the speed of sound.
There was a time when
I did not believe in miracles, but after the change that has come to me,
I know they do happen.
I have found three ways
of doing things, the right way, the wrong way, or any damn way I can get
it done at the time.
What is legal, and what
is right, are not always the same.
